  • Test coverage includes schema validation, validation of all conformance rules, and validation of each test scenarios intent.
  • Test reporting includes transaction exchange logs including transport headers and XML payload listings, conformance checks completed, and detailed failure information.
  • OpenADR Demand Response Program Guide test case coverage

  • QualityLogic will also offer fee-based Support Contracts for 1, 5, 10 and 20-hour blocks of support time at commercial rates and will advise when free support hours have been used and a new contract is required in order to continue receiving QualityLogic support.

The test tool provides a robust set of configuration settings to adapt the test harness to various environments and to selectively disable conformance checks to facilitate testing implementations with known issues.

The OpenADR 3.x Test Tool currently features two certification profiles:

- VTN: Full VTN testing
- VEN CP Profile: The Continuous Pricing (CP) profile VEN is expected to poll for events, and on receipt of any that include a report request, write a report. The VEN is required to be be able to read prices, GHG emission numbers, and emergency messages. This profile is for VENs that only receive price and related information.
- VEN BL Profile: The BaseLine (BL) profile evaluates a VENs general capabilities. It is used to verify a VENs functional compatibility, e.g. its 'protocol-level' functionality and ability to communicate with a VTN. This profile is for general flexibility systems.

A version of the same test tool will be used for online certification testing. To certify a VTN or a VEN, the user needs to purchase a certification license which includes time with a certification manager for an online review of the product. The certification license can be obtained on the Certification Process page or at this form (coming soon).

Pricing: The 3.x test tool price for OpenADR Alliance members is $2,250 for either VTN or VEN testing or $3,500 for VTN+VEN testing. The price includes up to 3 hours of testing support.
