From industrial past to modern innovation: Bilbao welcomes Enlit Europe
With its stunning architecture, enviable dining scene, and home to the Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao will add a new string to its bow this year when it plays host to Enlit Europe 2025.
The fact that Bilbao has transformed from a gritty industrial port into one of the most vibrant and futuristic cities in Spain is perhaps a fitting tribute to the energy sector, which itself is transforming from old to new.
This year’s event takes place from November 18-20 and, as in previous years, the OpenADR Alliance will be front and centre on the exhibition floor, alongside many of our members. It’s an important date in the calendar, where we get to mix with industry partners, members and some of the leading players shaping Europe’s energy future.
If you haven’t had a chance to look at the exhibitor list yet – all 40,000 square metres of “energy innovation” according to organizer Clarion Events – do take a look. The Alliance will be on booth 3.H94 showcasing OpenADR 3 technology and use cases.
We’re delighted to see so many partners and member companies listed, including Kaluza, Siemens Energy, Honeywell, SmartEn, Mitsubishi, ABB, Cuculus, dcbel, and many others.
There will be plenty of talk at the event this year too, with over 200 Hub Sessions packed full of ideas, all free if you have a Expo Pass. Taking place on the exhibition floor, this is where you’ll hear about new technologies, case studies and cross-sector knowledge sharing. We’ll be taking time out to listen in.
We welcome your stories and updates about what you’re planning at this year’s show so get in touch with the team and we will share them in our series of blogs over the next few weeks.
See you there!
