“I am privileged to have the opportunity to serve on the Advisory Committee to the U.S. Secretary of Commerce,” says Haaser.” “I look forward to working with the Advisory Committee and Secretary Pritzker to develop programs and policies that help American companies remain competitive in the global energy marketplace.”

In support of U.S. renewable energy and energy efficiency manufacturers and services providers, the U.S. Department of Commerce has re-established the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee (RE&EEAC). The RE&EEAC will advise the Secretary regarding the development and administration of programs and policies to expand the competitiveness of U.S. exports of renewable energy and energy efficiency goods and services, as well as the National Export Initiative (NEI)/NEXT.

NEI/NEXT will help more American companies reach more overseas markets by improving data, providing information on specific export opportunities, working more closely with financing organizations and service providers, and partnering with states and communities to empower local export efforts.
